Chelsea Grey and the Las Vegas Aces, the two-time WNBA champions, sign an agreement.
HENDERSON, Nevada The Las Vegas Aces, two-time WNBA champions, announced on Tuesday that point guard Chelsea Grey has extended her contract until 2025.
In a statement, Grey stated, “I love this franchise, this team, and the city of Vegas.” It’s turned into my home.
My family resides there. My passions include winning titles and making history.We have developed a strong friendship, trust, and constant desire for the best for one another since we are so close.
I have the opportunity to play with some future Hall of Famers who share my passion for victory. Here in Vegas, we’re pursuing a legacy.
Three titles have been won by Grey: two with the Aces in the last two years and one with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2016.
In addition to being named to the first or second team of the league three times, she was named MVP of the 2022 WNBA Finals. During the previous campaign, Grey averaged 15.3 points, 7.3 assists, and 4.0 rebounds.
She sustained a left foot injury during the WNBA Finals the previous season, which has kept her out of training camp.
