Arne Slot receives an offer from Jürgen Klopp amid the “Liverpool 2.0” transfer message.

Jürgen Klopp says he will not be using his phone at Arne Slot. The new Liverpool manager will have the final say on whether or not to consult the German.

Jürgen Klopp has made it known that Arne Slot, the next manager of Liverpool, can reach him at any time by phone if he wants to talk about the specifics of the team he is taking over. But Klopp has no plans to force himself on any newly hired employees.

Although Klopp is scheduled to leave Anfield, he thinks that the initiative he called “Liverpool 2.0” will continue after he leaves. Regarding any dealings with Slot, Klopp stated: “It is not my choice.

“I’m not qualified to offer guidance. The world knows my number, so when new individuals walk in, they can phone me if they have any questions.”We may chat about anything and everything in this club; I love to discuss about everything. I have no trouble chatting to anyone; I like doing so. But it’s not my concern or my responsibility to be available to ask him or her.

“It’s no problem, I will give whatever I know about.”

It is unlikely that Klopp will win the Premier League title in his final season as Liverpool prepares for its second-to-last home game against Tottenham. Nonetheless, Liverpool’s place in the Champions League for the upcoming season is certain thanks to Chelsea’s triumph over Spurs.

Now that the pressure is off, Klopp says he’s going to enjoy every minute of his final three games in charge, which begin with a visit from Tottenham, go on to an away game at Aston Villa, and end at home against Wolves.

“It’s totally my idea. If I didn’t do it, it would be absurd,” he said. “It takes some persuasion to be content with qualifying for the Champions League, but it is still acceptable.

“Losing the following game, particularly at home against Aston Villa and Wolves, is not helpful. In that sense, it’s not enjoyable. Football is being played. We will attempt to win games because it is the only way to enjoy football. For this reason, we practise.

While qualifying for the Champions League may seem like a victory, following winning the Carabao Cup in February and seemingly having a chance to win the FA Cup, Europa League, and title, higher standards were set, such as going for a quadruple.

Nevertheless, with faith in his inexperienced team and revitalised midfield, Klopp expresses confidence in his successor to continue the work he began and does not anticipate his departure having an impact on the progress.

“You have to see it in the long term as well,” he said, adding, “We tried to win the league but it didn’t work out.” It’s not over for Liverpool 2.0 and me.

It’s just Liverpool as it is now. They can take the following steps; this is just the beginning.”

According to Liverpool, Klopp is being generous by offering to speak with the incoming manager. Additionally, it’s only fair that people do it on their terms rather than feeling forced to.

Slot appears anxious to get started at Anfield and put his mark on things, provided he does end up managing Liverpool, but who knows if Klopp will answer that call. But one thing is certain: he’s providing his successor with a solid foundation on which to build.
