Angel Reese Responds After Becoming First Player Ejected from Unrivaled Game: “Free Me”
Angel Reese made history in the Unrivaled league on Saturday.
During a game between Rose Basketball Club and Vinyl Basketball Club, Reese became the first player ever to be ejected from an Unrivaled game.
The incident occurred in the second quarter when she was called for a foul while attempting to strip the ball from Tiffany Hayes. Following the call, Reese gestured toward the referee, resulting in a technical foul. After continuing to argue, she received a second technical, leading to her ejection.
Following the game, Reese addressed the situation on social media.
Before her ejection, she had an impactful performance, recording 10 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists in just 13 minutes. Despite her contributions, Rose fell short, losing 79-73, with Vinyl’s Rhyne Howard leading the way with 33 points.
